Inspect activity
Find a recorded change and trace it to the affected record.
Updated September 5, 2026 2 min read
Open /admin/activity when you need to find who changed a record, what action was recorded and when it happened.
Find a change
- Narrow the time range to when the event occurred.
- Filter by actor, action, source or entity type where available.
- Find the matching event and open its linked record.
- Compare the recorded action with the record's current state and any related execution or provider receipt.
For example, when a proposal appears to have changed after a customer review, start with that proposal's events and the time of the review. Keep the proposal identifier with your findings so another operator can inspect the same record.
Interpret the evidence
An activity event records an application action. For an external effect, inspect the associated result as well: an approved request, provider acceptance and final delivery are different facts. Action results explains those states.
Events omit sensitive content. A row may identify a message operation without containing its full body. Open the authorized business record for the content you are allowed to read.
When you cannot find an event
Check the workspace, date range and filters. Retain the affected record ID and approximate time for the technical owner if the event is still missing. Do not invent a replacement event or treat absence as proof that nothing happened.
Today shows work to act on; Activity helps investigate what was recorded.
