Review resource downloads

Find who requested a resource and check the recorded download time.

Updated September 5, 2026 2 min read

Open /admin/resources to see Resource Downloads. This screen lists download records; it is not the editor for uploading or publishing resources.

Find a download

  1. Search by the person's name or email address.
  2. Use the resource filter when it is available to narrow the displayed records.
  3. Read the resource name and download time on the matching row.
  4. Check the related contact before deciding whether follow-up is appropriate.

Search and resource filtering apply to the loaded page of downloads in the current implementation. If an expected record is absent, clear the filters and check the other pages.

Read the counts correctly

Total Downloads counts recorded downloads. Unique Users reports distinct users according to the service's grouping. Neither number tells you whether someone read the file, qualified as a lead or agreed to receive marketing.

A repeat download can be a real second event. Do not merge people or remove records solely to make these counts match.

When a download is missing

Confirm the resource, email address and approximate time. Keep those details for the technical owner to compare with intake records. Use Leads and chat to inspect an associated inquiry and Troubleshooting if the page could not load.
