Worked example

The customer accepts the job

  1. Open the won opportunity and client engagement.

  2. Prepare the site-access, materials and start-date checklist with actual owners and dates.

  3. Create the reviewed tasks and track completion in Work.

What the team gets

The team has an assigned checklist linked to the engagement instead of a separate handoff spreadsheet.

Start with the right setup

Client records and shared tasks are core. Client onboarding and Meeting commitments are optional Apps. They use supplied checklist information; they do not infer every obligation from a meeting.

Workspace setup

Adapt it to your business

Build a job, case or review workspace with its own lifecycle, linked to the customer and shared tasks. Collections demonstrates how an App can own domain state while participating in shared attention and AI.

Tasks and commitments

Give work a title, date and source context so the team can follow it through. Work starts with your open tasks and can show team work when needed. Use the same tasks as a list, status board or date calendar; filter and save a personal or workspace view; then edit, snooze or complete work through its existing task service. The list supports keyboard triage. The inspector edits instructions, keeps its task link through reload, opens related records and offers read recovery while preserving failed edit drafts. Ask AI can prepare task reopening and description edits for review, with stale-change checks before execution. Onboarding and meeting workflows can create assigned checklists linked to their source records. A client follow-up appears beside its activity and refreshes the task views in Work and Today.

Assigned task checklists

Break an onboarding or meeting follow-up into tasks the team can complete. The bundled workflow plugins prepare one to ten tasks with descriptions, dates and assignees. Review the plan and confirm the created tasks after execution.

Advance a debate production

Track each participant commitment and the first step still missing. The Bookings module keeps topic interest, pairing, question, format, date and the verified Google invitation separate. Today links to the production. Review two inbound participant acceptances before approving an invitation, then recheck the provider event and responses.
