Worked example

An agreed job needs an invoice and a later follow-up

  1. Prepare an invoice for the existing customer and review its amounts.

  2. Approve creation and sending, then inspect the provider result.

  3. Track an outstanding invoice in Collections and review the balance, holds and promises before preparing a reminder.

What the team gets

The team can distinguish a sent invoice from a payment and see the next collection decision against invoice evidence.

Start with the right setup

Invoicing, subscriptions and Collections are optional and use connected Stripe accounts. Reminders also need a sender. Billing and external sends retain human approval; Revenue reports agreement values separately from collected cash.

Workspace setup

Adapt it to your business

Adapt invoice presentation or build a domain-specific billing workflow around the existing Stripe and collection services. Keep provider amounts and payment facts authoritative.

Related capabilities

Invoices and customer billing pages

Create an invoice for an existing customer and follow its sending and payment status. Enable Stripe invoicing, connect the intended account and review the line items. Draft creation, sending and customer-page publication have separate approved results; provider payment facts remain authoritative.

Collections

Group verified invoices by account and currency, record promises and disputes, and approve an exact reminder when you are ready to send. With Stripe invoicing enabled, open Invoices from the sidebar to create customer invoices, then use Collections to manage overdue balances. Workspace-created invoices also offer an AI-assisted customer-page editor with style starters, phone previews, Undo/Redo, and separate publication approval. Ask AI to propose a pause, promise, dispute, owner or next action, then review the exact change. Fresh invoice and contact checks guard approvals; reminders require a separate review and send receipt.

Subscriptions

Sell monthly or annual plans through Stripe Checkout and give each customer a branded account for renewals, invoices, and card changes. Stripe stays the payment authority, and the workspace shows a checkout or webhook delay as pending rather than guessing an outcome.

Decision-ready analytics

Source, owner, campaign, stage, communication, forecast, attribution, and data-quality signals sit together. Metric definitions are documented, so a forecast is labelled as a forecast and does not read as a recorded fact.
